Massage Therapy

Creating a balance between our body, mind and spirit is a goal we should all work toward. Many of us have a tendency to keep the stress and the anxiety that we experience in our everyday lives bottled up, which can interrupt the balance between the body mind and spirit. Massage can be a healthy, gentle and natural option that can help you reach your goal.

Swedish (relaxing) Massage ~
Focuses on improving circulation by bringing oxygen and other nutrients to the body tissues. During your session long smooth strokes, kneading and other movements focs on superficial layers of muscle using lotions and oils. It helps to relive tension, stiffness and pain in the muscles and joints and improves flexibility and mobility.

Deep Tissue Massage 

Focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronically tense areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness and sore shoulders. During your session direct deep pressure or friction will be applied across the grain of the muscles, breaking down adhesions to relieve pain and restore normal movement.

During my sessions I also incorporate aromatherapy, essential oils, lotions, mists and much more, provided by Cathy Franklin at Sacred Mountain.
